Their latest installment, “Beyond Music Vol. 3 – Conflict” brings together some incredible talents from all over the world for one emotionally fulfilling 1 hour and 3 minutes of listening. There really aren’t enough words to describe such a sonic exploration as this. All I can say is that this is an irresistibly beautiful collection without a single skip!
Personally, I was awed by several tracks, including “Hold Oss,” “Wororo,” “There Must Be a Better Way,” and “Crossway” – these were instant additions to my playlists.
“There Must Be a Better Way” for example, features an alluring concoction of guitars, keys, strings, and hauntingly beautiful female vocals that skim over the rhythm with such haunting appeal. The soundscape is chill, mellow, and powerful, wrapping around the lyrics like a warm embrace. The violin adds that emotional depth and an extra layer of cinematic thrill to the overall production. Simply put, this song is hauntingly beautiful!
“Wororo” transports us to the heart of Africa with a seamless blend of East and South African sounds, delivered with innovative finesse for a unique and dynamic sound that blurs genre conventions and leaves one emotionally gratified.
“Crossway” builds up slowly and gradually. Through this entrancing instrumentation, there is a way a listener finds healing even before the strikingly powerful and subtly dreamy female vocals skate over the rhythm, hitting all the right emotional notes with her spotless delivery.
“Beyond Music Vol. 3 – Conflict” is meant to be enjoyed from the first track to the last one without cherry-picking. By the end of the listening experience, you’re likely to find multiple soundtracks to your life and discover amazing talents previously unknown. And this is why Beyond Music is super special because they mine the depths of the world to bring to the limelight remarkable talents worth your time of day!
