Quiet Majesty is a creative duo made of Jacob Hauge Mateo from Denmark and Ben Bushill from the UK. Jacob is a gifted producer, singer-songwriter, and a father of two boys. His Spotify channel also boats of over 10,000 monthly listeners! Ben on the other hand is a wordsmith, an astonishing bard, soothsayer, carpenter, writer, performer, and recording artist. He is also a father of three girls. Together they form a fascinating musical odyssey that combines the genuine poetic explorations colored with some gentle breeze sounds to take a listener to a home far away from home! Holding the poetic under the sweet soft sound, “Quiet Majesty” is a 6-piece EP that evokes all mother of emotions from the first piece to the last one; performed with nothing but pure passion and exceptional affection for the craft, it creates a near-mystical effect in a listener’s heart.
What makes “Quiet Majesty” a genius-level performance is a delicate balance between the mastery of the weighty wisdom on a show and the optimization of the sound to take the message home. Expertly piloting sagacity in a poetic fashion, Ben offers something to think about, “Our bodies and our beliefs will give themselves to the earth. Like leaves in the winter, we will never be without grief for it holds and deepens love and ancient hands but this anger and tightly held idea of what is right is a heavy burden indeed- forgiveness is born of surrender. Dignity will never be earned but arises from acceptance!”
With emotions slowly filling his voice, the plight of a father to always guide and protect their daughter is on display in “Fatherhood”. A father wishing to protect them from a commercial world of such noise, stress, and an invitation to relentless interruption and the fear of not being always there for them as time goes and they get to go away from them! The precious sound beneath acts as a vehicle for helpfulness transporting the emotion to the bottom of a loving and delicate heart!
It is necessary to guard the asset of relatable ingenuity in the pure display of instrumental spark colored with some mammoth ensemble of vocals in “Little Sparks” that feels like a majestic splendorous mausoleum of euphony that illuminates brightly from within and affects a listener in magical ways! There is a great deal of nourishment and soulful thoughts in “A prayer for all faiths”, “Bow Your Head” and “Cathedral” and all of this will be officially available on all the streaming platforms as of the 15th of April which will be a Good Friday to go with this good vibes!
