He is now back with another deadly music-film combination in “AT A DISTANCE,” featuring the gifted male vocalist VO-KAL, which is the official soundtrack for his “7EVENTH SIRKLE” short film.
“AT A DISTANCE” is the kind of track I’d call a radio staple; it has everything to get your head bopping and foot tapping as you feel the vibes that are straight-up old-school flavored. And VO-KAL really did leave an indelible mark with that chorus…for some reason; I can’t seem to get it off my head.
TY BRU is his usual lyrical virtuoso—cool, calm, and collected delivering some thought-inspiring rhymes over the nostalgic beats backed by the Halloween-themed music video that also reflects what to expect from his short film.
This is such an innovative way to collide two creative worlds into one exceptional thing of beauty. I have no doubt that when he makes it into the Atlanta After Dark Film Festival in April at the renowned Plaza Theatre, where he has been invited and plans to present the film and soundtrack, everyone there will be in agreement that this is a masterpiece, and from the trailer I’ve watched of the film, there is no doubt that it is deserving of an audience.
