October has been a whirlwind month for Thomas, known to fans as TommyG. At just 13 years old, this vocalist from Suburban Texas hotspot is proving that age is no barrier to big talent. On October 12, he and his band Z-ALPHA took the stage at the Circle Around the Moon Festival in Katy Asian Town, delivering a performance full of energy, joy, and heart. The crowd was instantly drawn in by the band’s chemistry and TommyG’s powerful vocals, proving once again why he’s becoming one of the most exciting young performers in the area.

Just a few days later, on October 18, TommyG and Z-ALPHA brought the same high-energy performance to the Monster Mash Bash Halloween Festival. The local junior high school event was packed with families and fans, and the band’s lively set had everyone dancing and singing along. These performances were not just gigs—they were moments for TommyG to connect with his community, share his music, and show just how far he’s come in a year full of remarkable milestones.

But October is more than just performances. TommyG is constantly looking ahead. On November 2, he and Z-ALPHA are set to perform at Katy Vibes, a local restaurant and venue known for supporting rising talent. TommyG is also preparing to compete in the “Katy Idol” contest, where he will showcase his vocal skill, stage presence, and versatility against other local performers. And looking even further ahead, he’s already received an invitation to return to New York next December to perform again with Kids Rock for Kids—a festival that has given him some of the most unforgettable experiences of his young career.

It’s been a year of incredible growth for TommyG. In July, he participated in the Kids Rock for Kids festival in New York City, joining the international PANGEA band. Sharing the stage with young musicians from around the world, including drumming prodigy Yoyoka Soma from Japan, bassist Maximo Olmedo from Chile, and guitarist Aanika Pay from Gibraltar, TommyG held his own among extraordinary talent. They performed in iconic New York venues like The Mercury Lounge, The Bitter End, and DROM, delivering shows that were full of energy and excitement.

Earlier this summer, TommyG also completed a three-week Musical Theater Summer Intensive at the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. The program immersed him in dance, singing, and acting, with training inspired by Broadway shows like The Lion King, Wicked, and Hell’s Kitchen. His standout moment came when he was chosen to play Simba in The Lion King, delivering a performance that highlighted his confidence, stage presence, and growing artistic range. These experiences have not only sharpened his skills but have also shaped him into a performer who can move seamlessly between music genres and performance styles.

Back in Texas, TommyG has continued to build his local presence. He has been performing with Z-ALPHA at community events and local festivals, including the Circle Around the Moon Festival and the Monster Mash Bash. His original song “Good Life Lovin’” captures the fun, freedom, and optimism that define his music, while his covers show a maturity and energy that surprise audiences again and again. Whether he’s performing country classics, pop hits, or his own songs, TommyG’s authenticity and love for music shine through.

He sings with heart, shares the stage with joy, and brings a sense of connection to every performance. From Katy to New York, audiences have seen a young artist who works hard, supports his bandmates, and isn’t afraid to take on challenges that push him to grow. The combination of local gigs, national experiences, and international stages makes his journey unique and exciting.

October may be ending, but for TommyG, it’s just another chapter in a journey filled with music, growth, and unforgettable performances. His voice continues to reach new audiences, his energy lights up every stage, and the best is still to come.
