John Vento is a professional artist based out in Pittsburg and is the founder and lead member of The Nied’s Hotel Band- a full house and all-electric band that profoundly entertain with their ambient, cinematic and high-vitality performances in rhythm and blues. To John Vento, his mind and artistic style are wired differently allowing him the freedom to experiment with a diverse range of genres and not limiting himself to one scope of style. His eclectic musicality allows the roots-oriented and distinctive American sounds of the blues, country, bluegrass, swing, rock-a-Billy and traditionally rooted organic styles to mix and mingle and unfold. The result from all of this improvisation and innovation is a blend of soundscape, rhythm, and effects that feel like poetry and illuminates the word’s attention through his own examination of the universe and allowing them to occupy some top numbers on various music charts countrywide. He also champions for Autism awareness-a campaign that is very close to his heart and they get to actually hold the “Autism-friendly open mic” for people suffering from autism.
