Syren Gio started out as just the boy with an empty pocket and a bag full of dreams and after realizing that his passion lay in music he quickly capitalized on that albeit in a fun way by starting off singing karaoke at bars while taking tequila shots at the coral reef at South Padre Island. The dream to become an international or rather a national artist was always there but he never imagined he could really pursue a career out of it. He used to write poems as a child in school and his creativity was fueled by art which is what he used to express himself best! His major turnaround came from a gift from his ex then which comprised of a whole new set of tools to make his personal studio at home and he instantaneously started experimenting with the instrumentals and singing and writing to other producer’s beats and before he knew it, he wanted to pursue his own journey by writing and producing his own tracks and that is how his debut EP “Inception” a two-track project came about in the year 2021.
The “Inception” EP was comprised of two tracks “Do me right” and “Through the dark” which are charming and delightfully enchanting tunes. “Do me right” has amassed significant stream numbers and “Through the dark” isn’t doing badly either – which is a huge testament to the masterful level of artistry that was on display in making this debut EP.
He is now back on the fold with another beguiling 2-track EP “Helios” which is a bewitching and contrastingly captivating compilation. “Devil” is a deep and banging track that has strong features and has an abundance of a sonic phenomenon right from the impeccably placed instrumentations to the vocal dexterity. The track has the glamorous touches of that trap mysticism and the danceable quality of a pop medley. The catchy hooks are the capstone of this melodically intriguing track and this in all ways epitomizes outstanding production and imaginative mastery.
“Forever Love” is more laid-back but rhythmic all the same with the sonic quality flaunting of infectious and nostalgic big-time R&B groove and the two artists; Dior and Syren come through with both exceptional instrumentaion and powerful vocals for days – finely calibrated and polished gracious male vocals that sit right in the mix and grab a listeners attention without seamlessly. The emotional delivery will kidnap you and hold you captive throughout its length and you will enjoy the absorbing groove and experience some goosebumps along the way. The lead vocals and the background mellifluous vocals take control in unison to a jamboree and give out an experience similar to swimming with the dolphins!
