Manila, Philippines — International entertainment mogul Paul “Pooh” Lunt has announced plans to launch More Fun Music Publishing, a pioneering new venture designed to help Filipino songwriters unlock global success through world-class publishing support and international licensing opportunities.

The new publishing company will operate in tandem with Lunt’s highly anticipated Popolo Music label rollout in the Philippines, forming a powerful one-two punch aimed at building a sustainable music economy rooted in Filipino creativity but tailored for global ears.

“The Philippines is full of genius—undiscovered writers, heartfelt melodies, and cultural stories waiting to travel,” said Lunt in a statement. “Through More Fun Music Publishing, we’re not just giving artists a seat at the table—we’re giving them a passport.”

The initiative reflects Lunt’s belief that the next global music wave can come from Southeast Asia, particularly from the Philippines’ diverse and multilingual songwriting base. Recognizing the commercial potential in adapting local songs into major global languages such as English, Spanish, and French, the publishing arm will focus heavily on translation, sync licensing, and cross-market collaborations.

Lunt’s strategic approach includes:

  • Song Translation & Adaptation: Identifying Filipino songs that can be reimagined in other languages while preserving cultural depth.
  • Global Sync Licensing: Placing Filipino-written music in films, TV shows, games, and commercials around the world.
  • Royalty Collection & Protection: Ensuring songwriters receive fair and full compensation through international performance rights organizations (PROs).
  • Cross-Border Co-Writing Opportunities: Matching Filipino talent with global producers and artists.

Having already built a robust reputation in the hospitality, entertainment,  and real estate sectors, Lunt has increasingly turned his attention to the Asia-Pacific region, with a special focus on empowering P-Pop and Original Pilipino Music (OPM) to compete on the same level as K-Pop and J-Pop.

His current investments include music infrastructure projects, artist recruitment campaigns, and concert ventures like Popolo Live, a global touring brand expected to bring Filipino and Asian artists to major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, Paris, and Dubai.

By launching More Fun Music Publishing, Lunt takes another major step toward his vision: a global stage where Filipino stories, emotions, and rhythms are not just shared—but celebrated.
