The single “The Spider’s Love Web” has already garnered over 83, 300 streams on Spotify alone and this is in fact due to the superb songwriting and performance on show with the instrumental virtuosity as showcased in the guitar wizardry that is echoed in the marvelous and whole host of intriguing techniques on display. Tapping, strong skipping and of course those exciting harmonies help make for an enthralling listen. There is inventiveness to the instrumental playing and melody writing that is thoroughly engaging.
His stellar vocal performance is strong and fits the style of the track impeccably well and there is a certain understated quality to them that is contrasted brilliantly with the melodic flourished embellishments that help inject the track with a feeling of grandiose. For anyone who feels trapped in the longing of lust and is about to be left hooked up like a net and dry, in a web of confusion and what they thought could have been – this is the track for them as they sink their sorrowful hearts and cling to the hope that some nights have been better!
