Edwin Rivera is a top-ranked music producer, DJ and Latin dance choreographer who has been making major waves with his stunning innovations and inventions that break all the boundaries when it comes to all types of Latin music; talk about Latin Trap, Reggaeton, and dembow and any other genre he wishes to improvise on. He is now set to make history on the 26th of August once he drops his own reimagined version of the 1971’s original track, “Quitate Tu” in which he brought together three generations of Latin music in one memorable melodic moment that will be talked about for days!
Rivera brings to the melodic table new generation urban act, Jon Z, 2nd generation Latin superstar Ñengo Flow and the one and only Fania All Stars legend Adalberto Santiago who was also involved in the 1971’s original version that was recorded in New York. By giving this version a remake, Rivera is set to reimagine a timeless masterpiece that will still seamlessly and coherently honor the original piece.
Blending its defined aura of Cha Cha Cha with tantalizing shades of Latin Trap with the warm and haunting Latin dance melodies typical of the Spanish culture, it will be easy to escape with your mind in the middle of a beach party once this track booms from within your speakers. This is old school and new school energy brought together for that sparkling impact that will resound throughout the universe.
I can’t wait for the 26th of August- in fact I lit up when thinking about what kind of track this will turn out to be and I have been studying screaming tutorials on YouTube in preparation for this mega project!
