Dez Nado is a hip-hop and reggae singer, songwriter, and record producer from Jacksonville, Florida. He is also a virtuosic television producer who produces and directs Jacksonville’s first and only cable reality TV series, Life & Grind: Duval[1] and LIVE from New Jax City, both of which air on north Florida/south Georgia’s CW Network affiliate WCWJ/CW17. Coming through the ranks, he has survived a few scars such as the near-death experience where he survived a bullet shot to the chest in the year 2009! Following this experience, he changed the trajectory of his music to include positive, non-violence, and drug-free awareness type of music that can be positively impactful to the people of Florida and its environs especially those that had been permeated by drugs and gang violence.
Dez Nado has won the Jacksonville Artist of the Year and also performed at the 2015 BET Hip-hop Awards and in the making of his second Mixtape album “LaDolceVita” in 2016 he featured some A-league names such as Caskey, Taylor Gang artist Lola Monroe, and Fetty Wap.
