Now, Demeera is moving fully into her own original work. Her upcoming songs, “Will He Steal My Show,” “Woke Up From A Dream,” and “Brave As Hell,” represent the debut of her authentic sound. She created these tracks with Afrobeta, Miami’s innovative electro-pop duo. The music blends Pop and Soul with her signature emotional clarity and cinematic narrative style. “‘Will He Steal My Show’ is playful but honest,” she explains. “It’s about confidence, chemistry, and power.” She describes “‘Woke Up From A Dream’” as her moment of awakening, and “‘Brave As Hell’” as the mantra she tells herself every morning when fear tries to creep in.
Fear is a feeling she has learned to dance with, but never obey. Her vision extends beyond traditional performance. An upcoming Meditation, Affirmation & Mantra Music Event, co-created with Tony from Afrobeta, is an immersive experience blending music with mindfulness and healing. Demeera has always considered music her form of prayer, and with this event, she invites others into that same contemplative space.
At the same time, she is taking on a new role as the lead singer for The Romantic Era, an American band based in Erie, Pennsylvania. The collaboration feels like a destined fusion of her soulful spirit and the band’s dynamic energy, bridging cultures and creative worlds.
