Aaron Night has always had that quenchless passion in music ever since he was a little boy singing and dancing his way through the coffee table – showcasing all emotions associated with a live performance. Aaron Night finds himself shattering the noise with his most recent string of releases. Debuting in 2021, “Flares”, penned by famed songwriter Ryan Tedder, quickly climbed Music Week’s UK Pop Charts Top #10 in no time while simultaneously hitting #11 in Germany’s Dance Charts. Topping out big names like Zara Larsson and Jason Derulo, Aaron has begun carving out his mark in the international market.
‘Through it all” is a touchingly familiar tune that was written from a place of true experience with Aaron Night borrowing heavily on his tumultuous personal journey through the pandemic which was not an easy ride seeing he was bombarded with all sorts of insecurities but he fought his way through the darkness and emerged with a triumphant victory. He is now here to remind us that it can be done – that we too can get out of that unimaginable situation, achieve tremendously and not once look back for we will be completely free of the residuals of the dark terrors.
“Through it all” starts with a graceful guitar tone accompanied by the solid wistful bass rhythm that whisks you to the moon in pop style before his gorgeous pure and delicately tasteful male vocals take effect slithering through the instrumentation effortlessly with the lyrics exploring the stark contrast between fears of the past and moving on. The unpretentious prose and fine musicianship that Aaron displays is enough to hold the listener captive throughout the song’s length.
The enticing guitars, the punchy drums and the splendid bass all balanced with precision not to overwhelm and the unpredictability added at some point where the rock percussive elements culminate in a jamboree in the chorus gets a listener on the edge of their seats as the catchy explosion resonates deep into a listener’s heart. Part of the chorus goes something like “… Through it all, I’ve changed for the better I stand up tall and I’m good under pressure through it all…”
The finger-picked and strummed guitars sit well in the mix and his vocals boast polished clarity and annunciation. This is a solid and outstanding songwriting/lyrical content that captures the feeling of triumphant victory delivered through vivid imagery and nice turns of phrasing while adhering to the originality of sonic space, structure and cadence. This is an exceptional track and exemplifies the artistic craft smith. Aaron is well on the right wave and the future can only get better from here!
